Hockey Training
Evolved is a worldwide strength and conditioning system for Rugby, Football and Hockey Athletes.
The coaches at Evolved have written the strength and conditioning programs that have proven to win championships and create champions for 20 years!!!
In working with these athletes, the biggest problem that the coaches identified was a lack of a high level strength and conditioning programs for athletes. The mission of Evolved is to get that high level strength and conditioning program in the hands of every athlete who wants to be their best but is lacking that last piece of the puzzle.
Workouts are programmed around your sport schedule. During the off-season there will be up to 4-5 training sessions per week. In the pre-season there will be 3-4 sessions per week and during the in-season, there will be 2-3 sessions per week.
Each session covers everything from strength and power training, to agility, plyometrics, conditioning, flexibility, mobility and recovery work. Each session has specific targeted work, depending on your level and sport.

This program will get you moving and help build an athletic base and help you to gain an understanding of movements which we will build off of as you move forward.

Your going to need a little bit of room, a bench,or something you can step up to and a good work ethic.

LVL 1
Hockey is tough sport, requiring you to be strong, quick and push to the end of the game
LVL 2 cranks up the volume and helps you achieve your goals!
This program will build on the movements and intensity from our LVL 1 program. We start to introduce more impact through plyometrics, add in more volume of training and crank up the conditioning!
Your going to need a little bit of room, a bench, a pull up bar or something you can do a pull up on and a good work ethic.
Spin bike / road bike/ mountain bike are options.
LVL 2
HOCKEY is tough sport, requiring you to be strong, quick and you're going to want to be able to play hard the whole game.
You need to have completed the LVL 2 program before starting on the LVL 3 program.
LVL3 cranks up the volume and helps you achieve your goals!
This program will build on the movements and intensity from our LVL2 program. This program is going to push you, and challenge you in new ways!! This is the last program before you enter into our intro to weightlifting programs!!
Your going to need a little bit of room, a bench, a pull-up bar, a couple of bands,and a good work ethic.
Spin bike / road bike/ mountain bike are options.
LVL 3
LVL 4
Machines are a good way to start moving weights, because they control the range of motion it is less likely that you will hurt yourself.
This program will help get you familiar and comfortable in a commercial gym setting.
After this program you will be ready to go on to the intro to weight lifting program, where you will progress o more free weights and learning the compound movements.
Remember Hockey is a physically demanding sport and this program will help build on the base that you created in the other programs,
LVL 5
Ages 15-18
This program is going to cover various lifts and help you develop a wider range of movements under load.
By challenging you to move under load, and carry the load in different ways, you will develop a great base or building block to move forward with.
Hockey doesn't happen in just one plane, so challenging the body to move through different planes will help you to be stronger on the ice!!
